Thanks to our wine skills, we selected for you 2 agricultural breweries in Friuli and one bio-agricultural brewery in Treviso. We decided to keep out handcrafted beers.
The difference between handcrafted beer and agricultural beer is that the second one, also named rural beer, is produced from the barley directly grown by the producer. To be defined “agricultural”, he must produce at least 51% of barley necessities. In this way the producer protects the environment and the territory.
As well as wine, beer is a land product and has its own “terroir”.
It a typical and genuine beer and it is a valid option in relation to industrial beer.
Ca’Barley – Bio Birrificio Agricolo (in Treviso) produces a beer in european style.
Zago Birrificio Società Agricola (in Pordenone) produces a beer in anglo-saxon style.
ZahreBeer s.s.agr. (in Udine) produces a beer in german style.
